The concert was combined with the official presentation of the Mayor of Gliwice’s Awards for Culture, which further highlighted the significance of the event. The audience had the opportunity not only to enjoy an exceptional musical programme, but also to experience the unique atmosphere of the ruins, where history and art come together in an inspiring way.
The ‘Farewell to Summer’ Concert
On 21 September, the ruins of the Victoria Theatre resounded with the sounds of classical music, tango and jazz. The Gliwice Chamber Orchestra performed alongside GANG TANGO – tango without borders – and the outstanding violinist Roby Lakatos, presenting a varied repertoire that blended tradition with modern arrangements.
